Red Phone Box Project
Towards the end of 2019, Blackwell Parish Council was awarded funding from the National Lottery to install old fashioned red telephone boxes to house defibrillator ins Blackwell, Westhouses and Newton (Hilcote already has one).
In Westhouses and Newton, planning permission has been granted the phone boxes have been reserved, we are just waiting for the OITH (Object In The Highway) licence to ensure that the positioning of the phone boxes is acceptable.
The phone box for Blackwell has been installed. We are now awaiting confirmation from the company we are working with of the date for the defribrillator will be installed.
